Ballarat’s Health Food Shop for 20+ Years
Go Vita Ballarat started as a small and little-known health shop in the “100 block” of Sturt Street. It had a modest team of 2-3 staff, including the owner.
It outgrew those premises, so relocated ‘down the road’ to number 7 Sturt Street. With a new owner, the business expanded, the product range grew and the services on offer increased.
By 2018, number 7 Sturt was bursting at the seams, so the store relocated a third time into the current premises at 23 Sturt Street.
The store stocks over 6000 different products.
Natural Health Services
In 2021, Go Vita Ballarat expanded into the upstairs area of 23 Sturt Street (an architecturally iconic building, known for being Victoria’s only surviving example of Edwardian Flemish Baroque architecture). This expansion allowed the business to increase the range of natural health services available to customers.
The dedicated treatment rooms are used for naturopath, kinesiology and other health modality appointments.
Health Foods and Supplements Online
2020 made it glaringly obvious how important it is for small retail businesses to have an online shopping option. So, Go Vita Ballarat started the task of putting all of its products online (over 6000 products!).
Now, Go Vita Ballarat is pleased to have an online store and info hub; providing customers near and far with a convenient way to access the huge range of health foods, supplements and vitamins, skincare, cosmetics, homewares and eco-friendly gifts.
